Straight off the track, Puma Speedcat is an icon that inhabits all our racing fantasies. 


We go through what was a staple in our adolescent reality: arcade rooms. There you can be whoever, immerse yourself in another world and make it your own.


The year is 2024. Pictures of Devon Aoki in Fast & Furious continue making their rounds and everyone has them as inspiration: rush of adrenaline, fast life. All that, in a 4D set-up. Own the game, own the rules. 


The Speedcat style originated back in 1999, now still featuring its classic low-profile rubber sole. It was meant to be a fireproof Formula 1 shoe, specifically designed to make pilots have the best grip on their pedals. Like most things performance-based, these leaked into street style in recent years and became a coveted item. Puma’s heritage it’s what makes it easy to blend nostalgia, racing fantasies and strong attitudes together.
